What Is Counselling?
Counselling gives you a safe private space to work through whatever is bothering you. Because what you say is confidential, you can feel safe in the knowledge that anything you say will not be repeated. Whatever you bring to the session, you will not be judged. You will not be given advice or told what to do. You will be respectfully listened to, whatever you need to say.
Counselling will help you to explore how you are feeling and enable you to look at things with a wider perspective. You may decide you need to make changes or you may decide that having looked at things in detail you can now re invest in your life. Everyone is different and has a different journey.
I will walk beside you and support you throughout.

How long will counselling last?
The number of sessions needed varies. It can be as little as 4 to 6 sessions. For some people more are required. The decision is yours, we will end therapy when you feel that you have achieved what you need to.
Counselling sessions last for one full hour and are booked in advance. They can be weekly or fortnightly. Sessions can be face to face at my counselling practice, on the telephone or via Skype.
